Captain Rob Walker is celebrating 48 years in the industry in 2023. A master mariner who spent 22 years at sea rising through the ranks from cadet to master, before coming ashore to take up various global positions in technical areas, quality assurance, commercial operations, consultancy and ship management.

Rob is based in Singapore since 1999 and has served as a volunteer on the management committee of the Mission to Seafarers Singapore, including as member, secretary, vice chairman and finally chairman since 2015. He is also the group chief operating officer of ASP Ships Group, and holds an honors degree in Nautical Studies and is a Member of the Nautical Institute.
