CMA CGM partners with football club Olympique de Marseille

The CMA CGM Group’s name will be displayed on the front of Olympique de Marseille (OM)’s new official jersey for the 2023–2024 season. The unveiling of this new jersey designed by Puma, Olympique de Marseille’s official kit supplier since 2018, marks the beginning of the main partnership between the club and the Group.

The jerseys will be worn by the players of the men’s team during the first match of the season on the weekend of August 12 and 13, as well as by the women’s team and the OM Campus, the club’s training center.

CMA CGM was founded almost 45 years ago at the Marseille region, where the company is now employing over 4,000 people.

As the first and only French club to win the UEFA Champions League, Olympique de Marseille finished third in the 2022–2023 Ligue 1 standings and has ambitious plans for the upcoming season.

Beyond sports competition, Olympique de Marseille and CMA CGM aim for their partnership to help make the necessary sports equipment more accessible on the Marseille territory.

By teaming up with the Capitale du Foot project, the OM Foundation and the CMA CGM Foundation are set to give a new lease of life to underused spaces by turning them into sports facilities for everyone to use. The City-stade de la Major complex will be renovated to accommodate sporting and cultural activities run by the OM Foundation and local community organizations.

CMA CGM has also sealed three major partnerships, in addition to the one with OM:

  • Official Partner in Logistics solutions of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games
  • Technical Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay
  • Team Partner of the Scuderia Ferrari’s racing division and official logistics partner since 2022
