Danny Lien is CEO of Genesis Solutions. He has spent over 30 years in the marine industry. He was the founder/managing director of Amos International, which was later acquired by SGX-listed AMOS Group and he became a non-executive director.
Danny has vast experience in both upstream and downstream global supply chain, particularly in the maritime industry. His years as an entrepreneur in the industry has allowed him to hone his skills at sales and marketing, global and regional procurement, inventory and warehouse management, as well as last mile logistics. He has also built an impressive network of global contacts to ensure his global supply chain remains robust.
Danny is passionate about digitalizing the marine supply chain. As president of the Singapore Association of Shipsuppliers & Services, he works with different government agencies to lead the industry in adopting technology for Singapore to be the global thought leader in intelligent marine supply chain. He is the first in the Singapore marine supplies industry to successfully automate the supply chain process using automation and robotics to improve efficiency and productivity.
Danny holds a Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and he completed the Owner President Management Program from Harvard Business School in 2016.
