Dr. Sanjay Chittarajan Kuttan is currently chief technology officer of the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonization, after completing almost three years as executive director of the Singapore Maritime Institute previously.

Since 1994, Sanjay has been in both private and public sector: R&D (program director, Energy Research Institute, Nanyang Technological University); line management (AP technical response manager, ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, 10 years); business development (business development manager, Mobil Oil Australia, two years); policy and program management (Energy Market Authority, two years), management consulting (petroleum practice expert/engagement manager, McKinsey & Company, four years); business leadership (MD, Clean Technology Centre, and country manager, DNVGL-Energy, five years).
