Gentari Sdn Bhd, a clean energy solutions provider in Malaysia, has announced a strategic collaboration with MISC Berhad, a maritime services provider, through Gentari Hydrogen Sdn Bhd. This partnership will focus on the development of integrated shipping and floating solutions for clean ammonia, with an anticipated project completion by 2027. The collaboration combines MISC’s maritime expertise with Gentari’s commitment to clean hydrogen and ammonia production, creating streamlined solutions for the clean ammonia value chain and setting new standards for sustainable energy transportation.
The joint effort aims to address the growing demand for alternative energy sources within the broader energy sector. By enhancing the infrastructure necessary for ammonia transportation, the partnership seeks to deliver comprehensive logistics, transportation, and infrastructure solutions for clean ammonia, which is increasingly recognized as a critical component for sustainable power generation and industrial applications in future energy mixes.
