On July 8, Liebherr marked a significant milestone in European industry with the delivery of its 2,000th mobile harbour crane, the LHM 600, to Marcegaglia in Ravenna. This crane will play a crucial role in handling steel coils, billets, and plates, all essential elements in Marcegaglia’s high-volume logistics operations, which process over four million tonnes of steel annually. The LHM 600 stands out not only for its size but for its impressive specifications, featuring a reach of 61 meters and a lifting capacity of 154 tonnes. The collaboration between Liebherr and Marcegaglia began over two decades ago with the delivery of an LHM 400 crane in 2001.
