Stephen Ly is a vice president at C. H. Robinson. He is responsible for leading and managing C.H. Robinson’s business activities in the South East Asia region.

With over 20 years of experience in logistics, Stephen brings with him rich industry expertise in
express, global forwarding, warehousing, and customs brokerage. Having worked in leadership
positions across Asia Pacific, Stephen has held board, country and regional roles in major
logistics and manufacturing companies, accumulating extensive experience on both side of the
logistics relationship.

Over the years, Stephen has successfully led organizational turnaround and spearheaded
initiatives leading to significant growth, and improvements in profitability, operational
efficiency, and service quality.

Prior to joining C. H. Robinson, Stephen spent 16 years with Deutsche Post DHL group, where
he held a number of leadership roles including managing director of DHL Global Forwarding
Singapore, managing director of DHL Global Forwarding Philippines, head of customs brokerage
services DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific, regional manager of customs and regulatory affairs
– DHL Express Oceania.

Prior to joining the logistics industry, Stephen held various operational and management roles
in Australia in both manufacturing sectors and technological firms.

Stephen is a graduate of Australian Graduate School of Management with a Master of Business
Administration degree. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science degree in network system
and a Bachelor of Business degree in international trade majoring in economics and marketing.
