TotalEnergies Marine Fuels’ challenge centers on creating a framework for delivering bio-methane in Singapore, aimed at reducing emissions associated with shipping fuel supplies, thus enabling shipping companies to reflect carbon savings while continuing to use fossil LNG.
The SMF’s press release highlights that this is the fifth edition of the summit, which not only connects students with industry professionals but also provides mentorship, strengthens students’ credentials, and offers cash prizes up to $4,000. The competition culminates in a grand final on November 7, 2024, where shortlisted teams will present their innovative solutions.
