The 2025 Maritime Solent Awards are set to open for submissions on June 30, 2023, shining a light on the region’s maritime achievements. Now in its fourth year, the awards recognize the exceptional skill, talent, and innovation within the Solent’s maritime sector, a field known for its global significance. These prestigious awards provide a platform for showcasing accomplishments and inspiring excellence in various domains.
The awards feature 13 categories that reflect the sector’s strength and diversity. Categories range from recognizing leading apprentices and cadets to initiatives addressing future skills needs and acknowledging advancements in sustainability and technology. Notably, this year’s event introduces two new categories: Maritime Logistics Operator of the Year and Maritime Defence Supply Chain Enterprise of the Year, which aim to highlight the importance of these areas both regionally and nationally.
Anne-Marie Mountifield, Chair of Maritime Solent, expressed excitement about the awards, emphasizing their role in celebrating the world-class organizations and initiatives in the region.
