Seafarers’ Centers and Support Services in Singapore

The Port of Singapore hosts four Seafarers’ Drop-in Centres, designed to provide essential services and amenities for seafarers who need to make the most of their limited shore leave time. These centres are particularly valuable for those who may not have enough time to clear immigration and leave the terminal.

Facilities and Services:
The drop-in centres offer a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Comfortable lounge areas
  • Free Wi-Fi and internet access on computers
  • Telephones for communication
  • Transportation arrangements
  • Counselling services
  • Libraries and other resources

Collaboratively run by the Maritime Port Authority (MPA), local seafarer missions, and maritime unions, the centres aim to enhance the welfare and well-being of international seafarers.
